This FMF Fatty 2T exhaust is the expansion chamber designed for small-displacement two-stroke engines, aimed at young riders looking to get the most out of their KTM without losing smoothness in power delivery.
It is made from extra-strong sheet steel with a nickel-plated finish that protects the assembly from the heat generated by the exhaust gases and from corrosion in everyday use. The geometry of the header aims for a wide, even rev range, also achieving a higher rev ceiling than the stock exhaust.
The photo shows the typical silhouette of an expansion chamber, with its bulging central belly and the outlet section progressively narrowing, all finished in a uniform silver nickel-plated coating.
The result in everyday use is greater traction and better throttle control, results that are maximised when this header is paired with an FMF silencer.
