Within the Functional range of Powerwear jackets, this piece is designed for the adventure rider who covers long distances and faces changing weather conditions throughout the day. It is a premium jacket geared towards road use, capable of adapting to both rain and heat.
It is made primarily from ripstop material, resistant to abrasion and tearing, with reinforcements at the shoulders and elbows. It incorporates the D-Liner K-Hydratech Pro membrane, which can be worn either over or under the jacket depending on the situation. The chest panels are fully removable and support two different configurations: they can be taken off, rotated and zipped back on, varying ventilation accordingly. YKK QuickBurst zippers at the shoulders and back, snap-button collar adjustment, front zip and velcro closure, width adjusters at the waist and arms, wrist velcro and a card pocket on the left forearm complete the package, along with a full mesh inner lining and hydration system compatibility. The composition is 81% polyamide, 18% polyester and 1% polyurethane.
The photo shows a grey and black finish, with textured ripstop surfaces combined with smooth panels, visible reinforced seams at the shoulders and elbows, and multiple external pockets.
In everyday use it provides abrasion protection, adjustable ventilation through the chest panels, and the ability to manage waterproofing by changing the position of the membrane depending on rain or heat.
