This lithium-ion battery is the replacement alternative designed for those looking to reduce weight in the battery area without sacrificing reliability, whether riding on the road or on the track. It is part of the PowerParts battery range and replaces conventional lead-acid batteries in the same mounting format.
The cell is a 12.8 V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) unit, maintenance-free, with a capacity of 8.0 Ah. It accepts a recommended charging current of 2.0 amps and withstands fast charging of up to 32 amps. Since it contains no acid, it can be installed in any position with no risk of spillage, an advantage over traditional batteries. It carries HOMNN_EU approval and weighs 1.5 kg.
The photo shows a compact black plastic casing, with the positive and negative terminals clearly marked and a label showing the cell's technical data. Its reduced size makes it easy to fit into the original battery compartment.
Installation is plug & play, with no further modifications required, and the construction has undergone test cycles developed specifically for this type of cell, resulting in a safe design and a long service life both for everyday use and intensive track riding.
