This air filter box cover is a spare part designed for those who carry out routine maintenance on their KTM's intake system. Its function is simple but important: to temporarily close the filter box while it is being cleaned, preventing water or dirt released during that operation from entering the intake tract and reaching the engine.
It is made of orange plastic, the brand's characteristic colour, and carries HOMNN_EU approval. Its design matches the shape of the filter box opening, allowing quick fitting and effective sealing during the cleaning process.
The photograph shows a part with a smooth surface and matte finish, with a perimeter edge that helps it seat onto the filter box. The orange colour makes it easy to identify among the other intake system components.
In day-to-day workshop use, this cover is useful for keeping the air filter clean without exposing the rest of the intake system to moisture or particles released during washing, contributing to safer cleaning of the assembly.
