The SC2 is the communication system designed to integrate into the KTM C5 helmet, part of the Powerwear range, aimed at riders covering long distances in a group who need to stay in touch with other riders without taking their hands off the handlebars. It turns the helmet into a permanent connection point with other users, with the phone and with the smartphone's voice assistants.

The module features Bluetooth 5.0 and allows multidirectional intercom between several riders. Thanks to Mesh Intercom™ and Bluetooth Intercom™ technology, the range reaches up to 2 km in open terrain, supported by a multichannel open-mesh protocol that allows switching between 9 different communication channels. It manages multitasking audio through high-definition speakers and a boom microphone, and includes voice control in several languages, with direct compatibility with Siri and the Google assistant.

The photo shows the kit components finished in black: the control module, the flat speakers and the boom microphone, low-profile parts designed to fit into the helmet's interior cavities without adding bulk to the assembly.

On the road, this system lets you talk to other riders equipped with the same intercom, receive navigation directions or take calls without losing focus on riding, and switch channels depending on the group or the situation at hand.
