This fuel tank protection sticker kit is designed for riders who want to keep the original paint on their KTM RC free of marks caused by constant contact with the knee, suit zipper or leather jacket. It belongs to the PowerParts range of bodywork protection and is applied to the side surfaces of the tank, the areas most exposed to wear while riding.
It is made from a high-quality elastic base film that conforms to the curved shape of the tank without creasing or lifting at the edges. Its structured surface improves grip for the legs against the tank, compared with a conventional smooth sticker. The black colour of the material allows the protection to blend visually with the dark areas of the bodywork without drawing attention to the part.
The photo shows the pieces cut to the exact outline of the tank sides, in matte black, with a slightly grainy surface texture corresponding to the non-slip relief of the material.
This protection prevents the original paint from losing its shine or getting scratched at the points where the rider's gear habitually rubs, keeping the tank looking good over the miles.
