This luggage rack is the mounting base for fitting KTM PowerParts travel bags or top cases, designed for riders who want to give their bike extra load capacity without losing access to the standard compartments. It is fitted to the rear of the subframe, in the usual passenger seat area.
It is made from a combination of aluminium and steel, giving it the rigidity needed to support the weight of the luggage without adding excessive weight to the overall setup. It features Quicklock systems, which keep quick, direct access to the storage compartment under the passenger seat even with the rack fitted.
The photo shows a structure of metal bars in black, with a uniform finish and an open design that reveals the anchor points to the chassis and rear fender.
In daily use, it acts as the starting point for attaching a top case or travel bags from the KTM PowerParts range, without blocking access to the storage compartment under the seat thanks to the Quicklock fasteners.
