The KTM Chrome Shoes belong to the Powerwear Functional Boots category and bring a sneaker-style silhouette to a motorcycle boot, designed for both women and men looking for a everyday piece with real protection.
Construction is handled by Alpinestars as a co-branding partner, with an upper made primarily from genuine microfiber suede (92%) combined with polyester (8%). The sole features the Alpinestars Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) system, and the whole package adds reinforcements at the heel, toe and ankle, plus a CE certified ankle protector. Closure is resolved with traditional laces and an additional elastic panel at the top, while the padded collar improves the fit around the ankle. Inside, the OrthoLite anatomical insole is removable.
The photo shows the two-tone orange and black finish, with the lace area and instep in suede and black details on the sole and side reinforcements, in a look closer to a technical sneaker than a classic boot.
The result is a ventilated shoe (level 2, with breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h) oriented toward naked use, combining the comfort of a sneaker with specific motorcycling protection at the heel, toe and ankle.
