This brake lever from the PowerParts range replaces the original lever with a machined aluminum component, designed for riders looking for a sturdier part with more adjustment range than the standard one. It is a direct replacement piece, suited for both track and road use.
It is made from high-quality aluminum through machining, with an anodised surface that gives it an elegant finish while also making it extremely light. The system incorporates a pivot with adjustable reach at the mounting base, which allows the lever to fold when it contacts the ground in the event of a fall, preventing breakage.
The photo shows the orange and black contrast characteristic of KTM: the lever body in anodised orange, with lightening perforations and a curved end with a mounting hole, while the black pivot base carries the KTM logo engraved in white and a knurled screw for reach adjustment. A small metal sleeve or bushing is also included as part of the mounting assembly.
In daily use it provides an actuation with reach adjustable to each rider's preference and, thanks to its folding design, reduces the risk of damage to the lever from impacts or falls, while also adding an anodised finish that improves the look of the handlebar area compared to the original part.
