It has never been so nice to skid as with the new KTM 690 SMC R. A motorcycle for those who want to make their mark in the curves on the road or in circuit and feel the addictive force of their torque at each turn of the accelerator. The return of the KTM 690 ENDURO R in 2019 offers pilots a true long-distance enduro machine, always ready to connect the road with the roads, thanks to its ability to offer the same high performance on and off the asphalt.

Similar in many basic aspects but completely different in their execution, both models have benefited from an intense development program to renew from head to toe. The latest generation of the LC4 single-cylinder engine, housed in a lightweight and dynamic chassis with high-end components, is combined with the latest electronic assistance systems for piloting to offer an exceptional driving experience.

More polished and refined, these updates have focused on improving what had already become the point of reference in each of their respective categories - without the addition of new technologies and greater ease of use diluted emotion of piloting and specialization.

Both bikes are equipped with the most powerful single-cylinder series available on the market - now softer and more sophisticated than ever. Endowed with an efficient engineering excellence, this latest generation of the LC4 compact represents a totally modern interpretation of what a single cylinder with a large displacement should look like. Two balance shafts are combined with a dual-ignition head and "ride by wire" technology to produce only good vibrations. The 690 cc engine now develops 74 hp and 73.5 Nm of torque; in a smoother way than ever and with an incredibly wide power band, counting now also with a Quickshifter + change for a greater refinement.

The electronic piloting aids are now very present in both bikes, with the incorporation of the technology of pilotage modes and the systems of traction control and ABS sensitive to the angle of inclination, to extract the maximum of these powerful bikes in all the situations.
